Whole-Wheat Pasta with Broccolini and Feta Cheese

Vegetarian/Low Cholesterol/Heart Healthy
This is a perfect dish if you only have a few minutes to prepare. As any zest may be overpowering, make sure you use the right amount. I am a sucker for feta cheese and I feel as though, the more you add, the merrier you shall be! I can see myself eating this with brown rice, as well. I am not too keen on the broccolini, as I feel any vegetable would be better. I actually added freshly cooked cucumbers and zucchini to the mix, and omitted the radishes since I feel they do not have enough flavor. The greatest part of this recipe is that it allows to play with the ingredients, and if you do not have one ingredient, you may substitute with another.

Stuffed Sweet Potatoes

Vegetarian
With Thanksgiving coming right around the corner, this could be your smashing dish! The carb content in a sweet potato is just as high as a regular potato, so for that reason, you may want to consider low fat marshmallow spread to make this a bit healthier. With pecans providing some crunch factor in the potato, you will be pleased to know they contain natural antioxidants and may aide in neurological protection and protect against damage of cells. Moreover, pecans lower cholesterol—so for those folks who are afraid of divulging in to this dish, tell them not to fear!

New England Clam Chowder

Low Fat
The one cup of fat-free half-and-half emulates cream to perfection. Considering this is suppose to be healthy, it does it's job well. Collecting fresh greens makes a tasty difference when cooking, and brings in the full flavor we expect from clam chowder. The bacon bits can be substituted with turkey bacon, which can be found at your local super market. Once the ingredient paprika is reached, you may stop and think to yourself "I rather not," but do not sell yourself short of this ingredient. The chefs do know what they are doing, after all!

De-lite-full Pizza

Low Calorie
Using wheat flour can make this pizza much healthier. Definitely make your own dough as prepackaged doughs can leave you disappointed. Now, I would like to believe I am a pizza connoisseur, and this pizza was absolutely delicious! I did use more garlic than the recipe called for, as two cloves does not seem as it would suffice in any dish. The charred sautéed tomatoes give you the impression of eating tomato sauce -- and that, I tell you, is a good thing! For those of you who enjoy spicy foods, this pizza will surprise you, as it too is a spicy delicious eat.

Mushroomed Steak with Pak Choi

Low Carb
With this quick and easy eat, the only ingredients required are mushrooms, ginger, mustard greens--Pak Choi, and steak -- preferably, flank steak.
Using ginger as the chief ingredient to season the juicy flank steak allows your pallet to enjoy the steak on its own. Now, the mustard greens make perfect sense for this Asian cuisine as they are known for their spicy, peppery taste. If you wanted to get technical on the Asian mustard greens, they are referred to as Pak Choi. The greens add a perfect crunch amongst the soft mushrooms, and gingered steak. This is a definite must-have for all food lovers!
